Lake Mary is a fairly easy hike that starts from the parking lot at Brighton Ski Resort. My last post about Lake Blanche is a pretty hard hike so I thought I would throw an easy one in. It's only a mile to the lake, it starts out a little steep as you climb past the ski lifts, but then levels out for an easy hike.
The hike starts at about 8,800 ft. and the lake is at 9,500 ft. It's high so you can't start enjoying this trail until late spring. If you go in the fall you could end up getting hot and sweaty or snowed on, you just never know when you're that high.
There are also 3 other lakes on this trail, Dog Lake is at the bottom it's small I usually skip it. Further up the trail is Lake Martha and Lake Catherine. Lake Catherine is the highest lake on the trail it's another 1.5 miles from Mary, it only climbs 400 ft. though so it's pretty easy.
This was from a nice easy hike with my friend Eric, click on the details at the bottom if you want more info.
